Constantine II
Ticinum — Pavia, Italy
The Ticinum mint produced a distinctive and often innovative series of Constantine II bronzes, including rare VIRTVS EXERCIT issues featuring Chi‑Rho symbols and early VOT‑series types. Its engravers favoured strong portrait styles and clear ST mintmarks, making the series both historically significant and highly collectable. Several issues from Ticinum are scarce or unlisted in RIC, adding further interest for specialists.
