Constantine II
Thessalonica — Salonika, Greece
The Thessalonica mint produced a refined and distinctive series of Constantine II bronzes, often characterised by elegant bust styles and clear officina marks. Its VOT‑series issues are especially recognisable, frequently incorporating star symbols and complex mintmarks such as TSBVI. Although smaller in output than some western mints, Thessalonica’s engravers maintained a consistently high standard, making these coins both attractive and historically valuable to collectors.
