NORFOLK. Norwich. 18th Century Token. Shield of arms of the city of Norwich upon a sword and mace in saltire, between palm branches. SUCCESS TO THE CITY OF NORWICH. Reverse old‑fashioned shop front with two windows and a glass door between, over which is a circular sign showing a bird with wings extended. Above the door is written DUNHAM & YALLOP and beneath the fanlight is TEAS. All enclosed within a circle of leaves. NORWICH HALFPENNY 1792. Edge PAYABLE AT THE SHOP OF DUNHAM & YALLOP GOLD‑SMITHS.
