Reverse: Two warriors fighting; the one on the left protects a fallen comrade, the other wears a horned helmet; Q. THERM. MF in exergue. This type commemorates the bravery of the moneyer’s ancestor and namesake, consul in 193 BC, who distinguished himself in a fierce campaign against the Ligurians.
