English “sterling bust” copper-alloy jeton. Crowned bust of king facing; border of pellets and rosettes. Reverse long cross patonce with six‑pellet clusters in the angles; border of crowns. Late 13th to early 14th century. 22 mm. The central indentation is characteristic of English jetons of this period, believed to have been added to prevent silvering and fraudulent passing as coinage.
