Romano‑British Penannular Brooch. An early bronze penannular brooch of round section, tapering to scrolled‑back terminals. Half of the ring is decorated with incised lines. 1st Century A.D. Cf. Hattatt no. 651 for similar. Diameter 24 mm. Attractive patina and complete with working pin. Found in the Ancaster area in the 1970s.
