Roman Penannular Brooch. A copper‑alloy penannular brooch of round cross‑section, the terminals formed as spheres with two collars behind. The pin is arched downwards to accommodate folds of cloth. Circa 1st Century A.D. Fowler Type A3. Lincolnshire. Diameter 30 mm. Attractive dark brown patina and complete with working pin.
