Anglo Saxon Cruciform Side Knob. A cast copper-alloy side knob from a large florid cruciform brooch, with chip-carved decoration, spatula terminal, stylised human face and interlaced ribbon patterns. On the reverse are the remains of the two lugs for the axis bar. 6th -7th century AD. Recorded at PAS: SWYOR-A59B17. Found north Lincolnshire in 2010. 22mm x 31mm.
