Celtic / Roman Strap Fitting. 1st–2nd Century A.D. Copper‑alloy belt mount or strap slide from the late Iron Age to early Roman period. The design consists of a double loop (“figure of eight”) with moulded frontal ridge; the reverse features a large rectangular loop. Recorded on the UKDFD as UKDFD 47691. Colne, Lancashire. 32.7 mm × 17.5 mm × 16.3 mm. Complete.
