COSCONIA 1. BC 118. Ar Denarius. L. Cosconius M. f. L. COSCO. M. F. around head of Roma right. ® Bituitus in biga right, L. LIC. CN. DOM in exergue. The Cosconia gens was plebeian and the moneyer is only known from his coins. This is one of a series of five very similar pieces, the other moneyers being M. Aurelius Scaurus (see Aurelia 20), l. Porcius Licinius (Porcia 8), L. Pomponius Cn. f. (Pomponia 7) and C. Malleolus C. f. (Poblicia 1).
