Medieval Heraldic Mount. A cross shaped bronze heraldic mount. The centre section is divided into quarters, with an eight petalled flower in each angle on a blue enamelled background. The four protruding arms are decorated with animal head terminals. The whole piece is gilded, much of which still remains. 13th-14th Century. North Nottinghamshire. 45mm x 44mm.
