Medieval. Silver Decorative Mount. A solid silver decorative mount in the shape of a crowned E B monogram. Complete with the two fixing pins to the rear. Circa 15th century. East Yorkshire. 23.7 mm x 15 mm. The finder of this item suggested that the E B may represent Elizabeth Bosville. This is due to an item associated to the Bosville family that was found close by. While a plausible and interesting idea, it cannot be proven at this time.
